Ideas for Using Information on the Web in Your
World AIDS Day Activities

Search the Web for HIV/AIDS information and share it with friends. Use a search engine such as Yahoo, WebCrawler, or AltaVista.

Share your planned community, school, church, or workplace World AIDS Day activity with others by posting it on the CDC NAC online World AIDS Day form.

Download CDC Fact Sheets and distribute them in your office or school.*

Consider helping a person with AIDS. Search the CDC NAC Resources and Services Database to find out about volunteering at a local organization. You can also call 1-800-458-5231 to talk to a CDC NAC reference specialist to find out about organizations in your area.

Hold a lunchtime seminar or program at your school or workplace to educate others about the AIDS epidemic. Use CDC NAC materials in your World AIDS Day program, download publications directly , order them through the Internet Order Form, or call 1-800-458-5231 to order.*
