Funding Program Announcement Web Site The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces the availability of fiscal year (FY) 1999 funds for a cooperative agreement program to support community-based organizations (CBOs) to develop and implement effective community-based HIV prevention programs for African-American populations. Program materials are available on the NPIN site for viewing, printing, and downloading. NPIN also offers online checklists to assist users in determining their CBO's eligibility. Visit this section of the NPIN Web site at http://www.cdcnpin.org/program/. NPIN Update on the Web NPIN Update, the new electronic newsletter, now has increased accessibility. In addition to being available via e-mail, the monthly newsletter can be found on the Web. The online version includes links to the information and publications highlighted in the newsletter. NPIN Web Site Awards Since the premiere of the redesigned NPIN Web site on December 1, 1998 (World AIDS Day), the site has been presented with many awards for the exemplary service that it provides.
