Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) on HIV/AIDS Ever since the AIDS epidemic began in the United States, the CDC has taken the lead in responding to requests from the public for information. This new section of the NPIN Web site provides responses from CDC to over 80 frequently asked questions (FAQs) about HIV and AIDS. Online Bulletin Boards Provide Forum for Prevention Professionals CDC recently launched free online bulletin boards on the NPIN Web site. Designed to assist sharing HIV/AIDS, STD, and tuberculosis information, the bulletin boards are a tool for healthcare providers, policy makers, grassroots community organizations, and organizations working in prevention, research, and support services. These organizations and professionals should feel free to post news and information about upcoming events or initiatives, as well as to ask questions and network with colleagues.
