NPIN supported the CDC satellite broadcast "HIV Prevention with Incarcerated
Persons," on April 27, 2000 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern time.
This interactive broadcast presented a public health update on activities
and resources for HIV prevention within correctional facilities. Viewers
saw prevention in action by witnessing interviews with inmates and correctional
staff as well as government and nongovernment spokespersons throughout
the country.
