NPIN will support the CDC satellite broadcast "HIV Prevention with Incarcerated Persons," April 27, 2000 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern time. This interactive broadcast presents a public health update on activities and resources for HIV prevention within correctional facilities. Viewers will hear from government and nongovernment spokespersons from throughout the country and witness prevention efforts in action through interviews with correctional staff and inmates. World TB Day World TB Day, celebrated March 24th this year, united the global community of people concerned about Tuberculosis. The theme for 2000, "Forging new Partnerships to Stop TB," called for outreach beyond the TB community to include new partners in the fight against TB. Conference: Workplace Solutions for HIV and AIDS The Business Responds to AIDS/Labor Responds to AIDS Web site highlights the upcoming conference, "Workplace Solutions for HIV and AIDS," which will be held September 7 - 8, 2000.
