The Clearinghouse's Resource Centers in Rockville, Maryland, and Atlanta, Georgia, make a collection of scientific and educational HIV/AIDS materials available to people working in the HIV/AIDS field as well as those living with HIV/AIDS. Librarians help visitors work with the HIV/AIDS materials, conduct online searches on the Clearinghouse's databases, and identify additional sources of information.

The Atlanta Resource Center's collection has a special focus on health communications. The Rockville Resource Center has a unique collection of published and unpublished HIV/AIDS materials designed to support HIV/AIDS education efforts. It also maintains a comprehensive collection of HIV/AIDS periodicals from publishers and organizations around the country.

The Clearinghouse also operates a Community Outreach and Training Center in Washington, D.C. which provides training and technical assistance.
